Besties
I sent this picture to my best friend today. It's by Nick Olsen and can be seen in Veranda magazine this month or you know, all over Pinterest. However the only pics of it I could find featured the right hand side of the two page spread and not the left hand side which is what made me send it to my bestie.
You see, we've been trying to finish off her living room for um well a LONG time.
I've got teal velvet & leopard print pillows going out to her this week.
I saw this room and WHAMMO I sent it to her with the note - THIS is exactly the inspiration I've had in my head for your room for like ever. Sure we are in no way trying to copy it but if you parcel it out piece by piece, it's EXACTLY the feeling I'm trying to achieve in her space.
Our sofa is tomato red. We have an acid green console table in the foyer. We have lots of prints on chairs too... oh and then there are the teal grasscloth side tables I designed too....
The three fabrics on the left hand side of the page are already in place. Two slipper chairs in the brown and green chenille David Hicks geometric, a Klismos chair in the Nympheus fabric... leopard on it's way or is that cheetah I can never keep it straight? The Other print... thinking of slipcovering some stools in that or a whole new bad boy.... The chandy is for her dining room.
